Elektrosluch Kit
An elektrosluch is a device that can let one listen to electromagnetic waves present in electronics around us.
During my time at makercube, one workshop that was requested by VIVO Media Arts Center was a soldering workshop. After evaluating a few concepts, we decided an elektrosluch was something that was just complex enough (beyond flashing leds) with an interesting use afterwards.
After a prototype built by another member on protoboard, I started development of the actual workshop kit materials, which meant developing a pcb (printed circuit board), creating a bill of materials, help source electronic components, and creating any printed material (instruction sheet). Kits were also sold as stand alone project kits that anyone could assemble provided they had a soldering iron.
